• For on-going projects, we learn the client’s preferred terminology, style and other specific requirements. Once a translator from our team has been established on a project for a client, he will be assigned any such projects from that client to ensure consistency.
• Translation memory software enables re-use of repeating segments, throughout all documentation for which the memory is applied, ensuring consistency.
• We work with customers to create glossaries of terminology per language pair. These are used during the translation process (and grow as required) to further aid consistency and most importantly, reduce the amount of time required for external reviews. To create glossaries of terminology, we can use smart software to generate source language terms for each product group and work with clients to manage the production of glossaries which will grow with the product range.

QUALITY THROUGH EXPERIENCE AND RESOURCES

If we are to require the services of new freelance linguists, we work only with those who have passed our tests and proven their competence to us over time.

• In the first instance, any new professional linguists are carefully hand-picked on a per-project basis, for they must be outstanding writers with an intuitive feel for the text (not automated computer programs). Good translation and transcreation go hand in hand: TranslationTouch team will not so much translate your words as the meaning behind your words.
• Next comes our experienced, native speaking lead reviewers who are all subject matter experts, they oversee the translations carried out by our translators, and perform final review through multiple independent quality control checks, ensuring adherence with the client’s requirements and instructions.
• Finally, the translated text is sent to Arabic language grammarians/proofreaders to check spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency and style, and report any notes.

The end result is a document that sounds like it was originally written in Arabic.
